Going, Going, Green!

All things green are on the agenda for UNOCO Group PLC, and we don't just mean Christmas trees. As part of their New Year Resolution, UNOCO are planning on becoming a more environmentally friendly company and are starting right away with a fantastic e-Christmas Card in place of the more traditional printed cards.

This is just one of the many new practices they intend to implement in the forthcoming year. So instead of spending vast amounts of money on corporate Christmas gifts that many people just 'file' in the bin, UNOCO have planned numerous ways to help the environment, saving energy and reducing costs.

One bright idea is to use energy saving light bulbs throughout the building, each light bulb saves £10 per year and lasts much longer than the average bulb. Another method that Unoco Group have already got going is a recycling system for paper and cardboard for each tonne of paper that is recycled it saves 17 trees and £10 per tonne in the landfill sites.
